Our year 2022

Once again, the new year is approaching in leaps and bounds - time to pause for a moment and draw a conclusion

The Christmas season is just around the corner - a time to reflect and decelerate, but also to be humble and grateful. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to our partners, customers and all those who accompanied us along the way, and to take a brief look back at the year 2022.

New team members and projects

2022, the first perceived post-pandemic year, brought many changes and innovations for us. For example, three new employees joined us in sales, product management and marketing: Max, Markus and Johanna. Max joined us in April and is responsible for product management and customer service. While he is working on his studies, he is responsible for new customer acquisition, device enrollment and customer needs analysis at IOTIQ - and in the last six months he has become a permanent part of our team.

Markus is one of our newest team members and supports us as a working student in project management. At the moment he is mostly helping Toni (Business and Software Development) and Sven (Management) - but in the future his work will mainly focus on Customer Support DE. Without exciting content, our future customers can't get to know us - that's why our other newcomer Johanna takes care of the high-quality blog articles that appear monthly on our blog. Her favorite article is 'Digital Wellbeing pt. 1 - How much 'digital' does us good?'.

In the course of our rebranding, which will reach its full potential next year, we also decided on a new slogan this year to describe us as precisely as possible to the outside world: 'Where Software Meets Service'. This should make it clear what we stand for: excellent software and even better, always reliable customer service.

This year, we were also able to take part in various projects and events and, in the course of this, finally take a look at the inside of one or the other ICE train or plane. Our project manager Elisabeth took part in the ITEA PO Days in Helsinki; Sven, Toni and Alex attended the MACHN festival in Leipzig's Westgarten and Toni, Sven and Saskia went to Nuremberg to visit the it-sa.

Coworking: Projects and products

In the coworking area, two customers with whom we have been developing their respective projects since 2021, FREIRAUM Lüneburg and the Ostsee-Zeitung, who are also presented in this testimonial, have become permanent additions this year. Meanwhile, at Basislager Leipzig, we developed an integration of the coworking platform Nexodus into MobiFresh, our beverage app.

Our existing products for modern and digitized coworking spaces were also further developed this year. At the same time, we recognized that these should not just remain with the Spaces themselves. In the coming year, the products will therefore be expanded to such an extent that they are also suitable for the classic office sector. You can therefore remain curious about what's in store for you next year!

MobiVisor: New customers, features and products

We were able to win four new direct customers for our MobiVisor product this year: VIA gGmbh, VinzenzMurr, Best Driver Berlin and Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Fahner Höhne placed their trust in us when it came to mobile device management.

And our colleagues didn't sit still in other respects either: The biggest development for our MDM software this year was certainly the integration of Apple School Manager (ASM). This allows, for example, the use of shared accounts on an iPad, which is of course a huge advantage when used in a school where different students use the same iPad. Since the ASM requires many special functions that had to be integrated into MobiVisor, the development required a lot of time and energy. All the more proud our team is now that it finally worked out.

Another important development was the feature that allows MobiVisor to reach a device even if it is in direct 'boot mode'. Normally, it takes a connection to the Internet and MDM to reach a device. If one of these connections is interrupted (as would be the case with boot mode), it is practically impossible to reach a device unless you use special software. With MobiVisor, we are now able to do this.

Our 'full MDM service' Ready2Go also launched this year. Here, the complete MDM process is accompanied by us: From consulting to device setup to shipping and holistic service. The devices are 100% ready for use upon arrival (including protective film!) and we ensure a GDPR-compliant configuration. In this way, we want to relieve the burden on small and medium-sized companies in particular, which often do not have the time or technical capacity to set up mobile devices, but still want to be on the safe side.

We are looking forward to another successful year and are ready for new challenges and milestones! In this spirit, we also wish you good health and success for the coming year.
